For this project, I was asked to make an outline for a company directory system that would allow the user to search their database for personnel, departments and locations. After submitting my outline, it was revealed that I would be finishing another developer's work on an existing system.

The code I inherited was incomplete, with many features only partially implemented. My task was to finish the remaining features and ensure that everything was functioning correctly. As the UI was near complete, the only UX modifications I made were to the filter options to improve usability.

Most of my work on this project involved backend PHP and SQL development. I had to keep security in mind, sanitizing user inputs to prevent SQL injection attacks.

To finish this project, I was required to compile a test list and ensure that every feature was working as expected. This made it easier to find issues with my code and make sure that everything was functioning correctly before deployment.
